Royal LePage Brookside Realty is a family-owned real estate and property management office in downtown Maple Ridge, serving Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Mission and the wider Fraser Valley.

Our Story

Our office has served downtown Maple Ridge as a real estate brokerage since 1969, and has been owned by Jim Isherwood since 1982. That continuity is unusual in this industry — more than forty years of the same family answering the phone, holding the licences and standing behind the advice.

Located across from City Hall, Brookside combines licensed REALTORS®, brokers and property managers under a single roof. It is a rare mix that lets us support a client through an entire property journey: buying a first home, investing in a rental, placing and caring for tenants, and eventually selling with the full history of the property already on file.

We are deliberately a boutique office. Growth has come from repeat clients, referrals and staying close to the communities we live in, rather than from volume targets.

Meet the Isherwoods

Jim Isherwood

Owner & REALTOR®

Jim has owned Royal LePage Brookside Realty since 1982, guiding the office through more than four decades of Fraser Valley market cycles. He bought a brokerage that had already served downtown Maple Ridge since 1969 and built it into a family-run business known locally for straight answers and long-term relationships.

His work spans residential sales, investment property, land and development opportunities, and the brokerage oversight that keeps Brookside's sales and property management sides working as one team. Many of Jim's clients are second- and third-generation — families he first helped buy a starter home now list with him decades later.

Nicole Isherwood

REALTOR® & Property Management Lead

Nicole represents the second generation of the Isherwood family at Brookside. She works with buyers and sellers across Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows and leads the client side of the property management division, supporting landlords, out-of-area owners and tenants day to day.

Her focus is practical, well-documented service: honest pricing conversations, careful tenant placement, and clear communication from the first phone call through to completion or the end of a tenancy.
